i have a JVC THG31 5.1-channel 100 watt system want to be able to hear sound from broadcast tv to watch sports or computer because my computer is also hooked to my tv need help

All you need to do is run an a/v cable from the audio out of the tv back to the Jvc audio input.
If both tv and receiver have a audio output/input that accepts digital, run a digital cable the same way.
Digital from audio output of tv to audio input of Jvc is the best way.
