Question by Mr.X: How can I make my Time Warner Remote control my home theater system?
I have a Bose LS 28 home theater system that came with no remote control and I was wondering if there is any way my Time Warner remote would be able to control that too. I have already tried following the steps that are printed on the back of the remote, but no luck. I tried both the Audio and the DVD setup buttons. The TW remote is a #1056B01.

To Search for the correct codes: (Assuming you want the AUDIO button on the remote to control your Sony).
Point the Remote away from the Bose.
Press and hold AUDIO and SELECT buttons AT THE SAME TIME until the red light at the top blinks twice.
Using the remote control key pad, enter the number 991. The red light on the remote blinks twice.
Press the AUDIO button repeatedly until the Bose shuts off.
Then press the SELECT button.
Press AUDIO button again to turn Sony back on.

Everything is possible as long as your system has the appropriate inputs and you have the appropriate software.
